    I see we have someone using a comic as their political guru. Corporations have just as much of a right to express their views and opinions through their representatives as any other union or any other organization does.

    Actually, Jason, according to the law as prescribed by the Supreme Court within the Citizen’s United ruling, corporations have MORE rights to express their views and opinions through their representatives- you and I are limited to $2500 donations per candidate- corporations and unions and other organizations have no limits to what they can give. Furthermore, like Colbert says- if corporations are truly people, as Mitt Romney has asserted, then Mitt Romney is a serial killer since he has “killed” many corporations in his position at Bain Capital. I don’t think anyone was claiming that Colbert was a political guru, but when you’re right, you’re right.
