Jill Stein Ad Hits the Air!

You probably already know that the Jill Stein for President campaign has filmed some commericals that they intended to air during the DNC and for the remainder of the campaign season.  You probably also know that Google TV Ads, which was a broker for the campaign’s satellite and cable television ad placements, originally refused to air the ads because of a bleeped-out word.  But did you know that censorship of a political ad is against federal law?  Were you a part of the massive online campaign designed to get the good people at Google to reconsider?  If you were, good on you- because you won!  Google relented, and the ads started running.  Greens from all over the country reported seeing the ads last night on MSNBC during the Democratic National Convention.

This is another in a great string of victories for Jill Stein and the Green Party.  The ad, which can be seen here, will continue to play as long as we can continue to collect donations from supporters.  As I’m sure you’re well aware, there won’t be any corporate cash or PAC contributions behind this ad- only people-powered, grassroots activists willing to stand up for what they believe in.  Are YOU one of them?  Consider donating to the campaign to keep these ads going until November.  Click here right now!

This ad campaign has sparked an incredible amount of interest in Jill Stein, the Green Party, and the Green New Deal.  Web traffic, Facebook “likes”, and donations have all grown exponentially in the last few days.  Be a part of the growing Green movement!
