DuPage Greens April Meeting

In these trying times with a neo-fascist in the White House and a union buster in the state house, it’s our duty to the 99% to provide a vigorous opposition to the two party tyranny!

so …

Don’t Demoralize, Organize!

On Thursday, April 5th at 7pm at the DuPage Greens Headquarters (213 S. Wheaton Ave, Wheaton, IL) we will hold our DuPage County Green Party Monthly Meeting.

There will be many things to discuss and approve including:

  • Officer elections (see details below)
  • An initiative for Community School District 200 increased security and mental health services – Jonathan Bresser
  • 2018 and 2019 elections – petitioning season is here! – several Chicago area candidates need our assistance
  • 5th Annual DuPage Greens Great Western Trail Earth Day Clean Up, Saturday April 28th, 9am – noon, between Swift Rd and I-355, Lombard, IL
  • Upcoming events

Officer Elections

The floor is open for DuPage County Green Party Officer nominations. All offices are up for election (2 Co-Chairs, Secretary, Treasurer, Political Director). All offices are 2 year terms. At the meeting the final officer nominations will be accepted and then officer elections will take place.

Facebook Event

If Facebook is not your thing, you can RSVP here.

After the meeting, about 9pm, we will head over to Muldoon’s Irish Eatery and Pub located at 133 W Front St., less than 2 blocks from the DuPage Greens Headquarters, for additional conversation.

Also, please consider donating to the DuPage Greens. It takes lots of small individual donations from people like you to cover the expenses required to support candidates and grow the Green Party in DuPage County, since as I’m sure you know, we don’t take any big money special interest contributions so we can fight for economic, social, environmental, racial and democratic justice for everyone in DuPage County, not just the fat cats.
