DuPage County Green Party Ballot Propositions Recommendations

Unfortunately due to political discrimination by the two party tyranny there are no Green Party candidates on DuPage County voters’ ballots for the Roevember 8, 2022 Election but we do have recommendations regarding the statewide and countywide propositions on your ballot.

  1. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE 1970 ILLINOIS CONSTITUTION EXPLANATION OF AMENDMENT
The proposed amendment would add a new section to the Bill of Rights Article of the Illinois Constitution that would guarantee workers the fundamental right to organize and to bargain collectively and to negotiate wages, hours, and working conditions, and to promote their
economic welfare and safety at work. The new amendment would also prohibit from being passed any new law that interferes with, negates, or diminishes the right of employees to organize and bargain collectively over their wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment and workplace safety. At the general election to be held on November 8, 2022, you will be called upon to decide whether the proposed amendment should become part of the Illinois Constitution.

If you would like more details about the political discrimination by the Republican and Democratic Parties in Illinois against the Green Party, see Disenfranchised in DuPage. The post is over four years old, but unfortunately the level of political discrimination has not improved. The discrimination is now actually worse since the complete blackout of the Green Party by all US mainstream and most independent media starting in 2019.
